I’ve chosen some of my favourite, reliable cut flowers to grow from seed - perfect for filling your garden with colour, bringing blooms inside, or simply enjoying the process of growing something from scratch.

Choose from:

• Cosmos: delicate, airy blooms that flower their socks off. A favourite for picking and perfect for a cottage-garden feel.

• Dahlia: big, beautiful blooms with loads of personality. Seedlings don’t grow true to their parents so your baby dahlias will be a totally new variety!

• Marigold: bright, happy blooms that are easy to grow and add a gorgeous pop of colour to the garden. Seriously underrated as a cut flower.

• Strawflower: papery, everlasting blooms that are perfect fresh or dried. One of the best flowers for adding texture.

• Sunflower: because every garden needs a little sunshine! Tall, cheerful and wonderfully easy to love.

  Zinnia: colourful, cheerful and incredibly productive. My absolute favourites for cut flowers!
