Service Description
This seed‑starting workshop is designed to help you confidently grow your own cutting garden at home, ready for summer. In this small‑group, hands‑on session at Stems, we’ll plant and learn with a curated seed kit made up of five easy‑to‑grow, reliable flowers: zinnia, strawflower, dahlia, sunflower, and amaranth. Chosen for their beauty and balance, these varieties grow well together and can be cut and combined into a cheerful, abundant bouquet throughout the season. You’ll learn the basics of starting seeds successfully, including sowing depth, watering, light, and early care, with plenty of time to ask questions and learn by doing. This workshop is well suited to beginners, or anyone wanting a practical introduction to growing flowers from seed. What’s included: – A Stems seed kit with five easy‑to‑grow varieties (zinnia, strawflower, dahlia, sunflower, and amaranth) – Hands‑on seed starting guidance – All materials provided during the workshop – Simple printed notes to help you care for your seedlings at home – Tea, coffee, and snacks You’ll leave with planted seeds, the confidence to keep growing, and the beginnings of a cutting garden designed to be enjoyed and shared.

Cancellation Policy
Booking & Payment: - All workshop bookings are confirmed once payment is received. - Payment can be made online through our Wix booking system. Cancellations & Refunds: - Cancellations more than 7 days before the workshop receive a full refund. - Cancellations less than 7 days before the workshop are non-refundable, as materials and stock are prepared in advance. - You may transfer your booking to another participant or another date if arranged at least 48 hours before the workshop. Workshop Attendance: - Workshops run for the scheduled time only — late arrivals may miss out on key content and cannot extend the session. - Maximum group sizes are set to ensure a hands-on, personalised experience. What to Bring / Wear: - Comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy. - Closed-toe shoes are recommended. - Camera or notebook optional — feel free to document your experience! Health & Safety: - All tools and materials are provided and sanitized. - Participants are asked to follow instructions carefully for safety. - Stems is not responsible for injuries caused by not following instructions or mishandling tools. Plants & Materials: - All plants, tubers, and cuttings are grower’s choice and may vary by season. - Participants take home the items included in the workshop. - Please handle all plants with care — these are live materials. Photography & Social Media: - I love seeing your creations online! By attending, you agree that Stems may take photos during workshops for marketing purposes. - If you prefer not to be photographed, please let Brooke know on arrival. General: - Workshops are designed for fun, learning, and hands-on experience. - Stems reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to weather, stock availability, or unforeseen circumstances — in which case full refunds or transfers will be offered.
