Service Description
The Wedding Flower Harvest is a relaxed way to source your wedding flowers directly from the flower field at Stems! You’ll visit the farm the day before your wedding (typically Friday morning) to harvest your own seasonal blooms. Picking the day prior ensures your flowers are fresh and well-hydrated for the big day. We grow what we love - flowers are seasonal, natural, and always changing, rather than grown to fit a particular style. Your harvest includes a minimum of four buckets of seasonal beauty. If you decide you need more on the day, additional buckets can be added for $60 each. Bring your bridesmaids, your family, or your closest friends. It’s a beautiful way to share a quiet, creative moment before the whirlwind of the big day begins. This option is best suited to couples comfortable arranging their own flowers or working with a friend or stylist who loves using seasonal, farm-picked blooms. If you’d like the peace of mind that comes with a professional touch, we offer Florist Time as an optional add-on. For an additional fee (starting at $200), our florist friends will expertly craft your bouquets and boutonnières. Special requests, such as specific ribbons or bespoke hardware, will be invoiced separately three days prior to your event to ensure everything is perfectly tailored to your needs. Our flowers are dictated by the seasons. If you have a specific vision or a “must-have” bloom in mind, please reach out before booking. We’ll chat about what’s likely to be in bloom to ensure our flowers align with your expectations.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Payment - The Wedding Flower Harvest has a minimum booking of four buckets ($280). - Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your date. - Harvest dates are limited and subject to seasonal availability. Timing Your Harvest - Harvests take place close to your wedding date, typically 1 day prior, depending on flower varieties and weather. - Our website automatically books Fridays for this service. If you need wedding flowers on an alternative date, please get in touch as we may be able to accommodate you. Additional Buckets - If you require more flowers, additional buckets may be added on the day for $60 per bucket, subject to availability. Seasonality & Flower Selection - Flowers are seasonal and field-grown, meaning varieties and colours will vary. - You’ll be harvesting from what is flowering at the time. - This offering best suits couples who are flexible and happy to work with nature’s timing. Changes & Cancellations - Due to the nature of growing flowers for a specific date, bookings are non-refundable. - If you need to change your wedding date, please get in touch as soon as possible - changes may be accommodated where availability allows but are not guaranteed. - Florist Time will be charged by invoice 3 days prior to your booking date. Weather - Harvests take place rain or shine. - In the case of extreme weather, an alternative plan or date may be discussed where possible. On the Day - You’re welcome to bring your entire support crew to help with harvesting. Make sure they've seen your Pinterest board before picking! - Buckets and snips are provided. - Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for a working flower farm. Is this right for you?
